Thyme River
The Thyme is a large river that runs from Lake Menna to the sea, splitting Barsoom City in two.
This river was named after a thyme-like plant that was found in abundance on its banks. It supplies most of the fresh water to Barsoom City, and if used for waste disposal in the industrial zone. The industrial waste that has been pumped into the river makes the docks an unpleasant place to be and the local fishing industry has been recently complaining of reduced wildlife in the bay, forcing the ships to go further out to sea.
